Climate Change & Disaster management (CCD)
In the coastal region of Bangladesh, poor coastal people directly harvest natural resources including biodiversity for livelihood survival, building houses, cooking fuel, raw materials for handicrafts, etc. Climate change may diminish their livelihood security by reducing access to the quality natural resources that are important to sustain livelihoods. Climate Change & Disaster management (CCD) aims to increase capacity of the poor people to cope with the effects of climate change, reduce the risks of natural disasters and increase their resilience.
